Xiaomi Mint Browser now available on Google Play&nbsp

Xiaomi has launched its new Mint Browser for Android smartphones with less storage and RAM. The Mint Browser is now available via Google Play Store and is best suited for a device featuring 3GB of RAM or less memory. Xiaomi claims that the new browser is light, ad-free, and comes with features like Dark Mode.

We tried downloading new Mint Browser on devices from Samsung, OnePlus, and LG with over 4GB of RAM but faced errors which hint that the browser is targeted at devices with low storage and RAM requirements. “Mint Browser is designed by Xiaomi for Android devices,” says the Google Play listing. 

Xiaomi Mint Browser: What’s new

  3. Voice search is available within the browser  
  4. Full-featured UI: the browser comes with Incognito and reading modes,

The Google Play describes the app, “Mint Browser is one of the best web browsers for Android phones. Breakneck speed, privacy, and security all come in a single tiny package. Our 10 MB app is a lifesaver when you prioritize user experience over pricey specs.” 

Notably, this is the first time Xiaomi has launched an Internet browser for third-party Android devices and can be downloaded by none-Xiaomi users.
