TRON’s Development Team Grows From 2 To More Than 40

Even though the value of TRON doesn’t describe it, their team has done some amazing work in the past year. To develop their projects, their development team has grown from 2 to over 40. This has allowed them to stabilize their blockchain.

TRON’s Head of Protocol, Marcus Zhao said: “They mostly come from prestigious internet companies such as Alibaba and Baidu. At the very beginning, which is eight, nine months ago our team only had two people. Back then, there were so many late nights. But we quickly expanded to about ten people.”

In October of this year, the team has launched Version 3.1 of TRON main net. SR CrytoGuyInZA set forth Proposition 1 was elected by the community for the activation on the main net.

This means that now TVM will be activated on the main net and now developers can deploy smart contracts on the main net. This is incredible for TRON as it is now officially on the start of a Smart Contract Era. Developers and Users will have a fantastic experience with TRON because this means TRON will be faster than ETH in about 200 times.

It will also be 100 times cheaper than EOS. Then, the size of the team was about 20. Zhao said:

“Our team also broke down into three smaller groups, underlying architecture team, algorithm team, and virtual machine and smart contract team. Since then we’ve seen a big leap in the quality of our code and our public chain is becoming more stable each day.”

In just a couple of months now the team grew to over 40. Zhao added:

“I think our team should aspire to become one of the leading development teams worldwide…We hope more amazing talents will join our team at TRON.”

To sum up their achievement for the year, TRON founder tweeted:

Justin Sun is dedicated to his work and spearheads the entire team’s efforts. This is apparent from Sun’s reply to Binance head.
